Bread making : Oven Baked Bread
- 
Mix 500g of bread mix and 8g of yeast in a large bowl.
 
- Add 330mL of lukewarm water.
 
- Mix together with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened and form a ball.
 
- 
Lightly flour the work surface and hands and knead the dough for 8 minutes until soft and elastic.
 
- 
Allow to rest for a couple of minutes.
 
- 
Continue kneading for 2 more minutes.
 
- 
Place dough into an oiled bowl.
 
- 
Cover and stand in a warm position until dough has doubled in size - approx 45-55 minutes
 
- 
Remove dough from bowl and knead lightly on a floured board.
 
- 
Shape dough into a loaf or cylinder shape.
 
- 
Place into a large oiled bread tin (25 x 11 x 10 cm)
 
- 
Cover and leave in a warm place for 35-45 minutes.
 
- 
Bake at 220C for 25-35 minutes until the crust is brown and load sounds hollow when tapped.
 
- 
Remove loaf from pan and allow to cool on a wire rack.
